Onboarding Essentials Program
Onboarding is a company’s only chance at making a lasting first impression. The new hire is in the hands of what the company does next, who is responsible to follow through with the new hire’s integration once an offer is accepted. The goal of this partnership is to establish the foundation for an effective long-term working relationship between the employee and the organization. Having a thorough onboarding experience is one thing, but experiencing an emotional connection from the start has the propensity to reap benefits for both the employee’s professional relationships and the company’s success for years to come.
The Onboarding Essentials Program cohort has a unique opportunity to bond in a way that many tenured employees cannot. People who experience the vulnerability of being in a new environment cultivate a sense of safety and inclusion that communicates, we’re in this together. The cohort inherently exists to build camaraderie by engaging in meaningful connections all the while creating their own micro-culture, even in the midst of a bigger, already established work culture.

The program's goal is to qualify the new hire's visibility in the workplace. GlideView offers an intimate space for new hires to show up as they feel comfortable, increasing the likelihood that an employee will stay. Adding a social-emotional component to the onboarding process will advance a new hire’s integration into the organization who will feel empowered to lean on their cohort when times get tough and a trusted friend at work is needed.
Program Design
The Onboarding Essentials Program is a minimum of eight-sessions facilitated by a professional and trained coach. The content is modulated into three categories for the new hire to get the most insight and perspective out of their experience, both individually and as a cohort.

Professional Insights Modules
The first modules of the program allows the new hire ​to recognize where they are today as a professional. Onboarding employees explore the skills, experience, and strengths they bring to the table—in their role and as an individual. The content addresses aspects of themselves that are relevant to their role and create connections with fellow colleagues within the program cohort.

Career Development Modules
Career Development modules help an employee to identify how they want to develop their professional career. These modules focus around what they want to do and where they want to go within the organization and beyond. The content guides new hires to seek opportunities within the organization to cultivate professional connections. Some categories include identifying their strengths, discovering their values, and learning to leverage existing internal and external resources.

Company Integration Modules
​Modules allow employees to recognize the value they bring to their organization not only as an employee, but as a person. It familiarizes the new hire to their employer and how their values align with their career goals. The new hire gets to explore how their employer supports their development and ways that they can show up to the workplace as they wish. The content increases awareness and understanding of the employer as a whole, making the company's fundamentals relevant to the individual employee.
